How to Add an M3U Playlist to Your IPTV App

IPTV Polska HD Team14 September 20265 min read

An M3U link is one of the two most common ways to access IPTV channels — alongside an Xtream Codes login. It's a plain URL that your player app uses to download the full channel list. Here's how to add it in a few of the most popular apps.

An M3U file or link is a playlist in a standard format containing the stream addresses for every available channel. Instead of downloading a file manually, you simply paste the URL directly into your player app, and the rest happens automatically.

Adding an M3U Link in IPTV Smarters Pro

Open the app and choose "Login with M3U URL." Enter any name for the profile (e.g. "My IPTV") along with the M3U link you received after activating your subscription, then confirm. The channel list and EPG will load automatically.

Adding an M3U Link in TiviMate

In TiviMate, choose the option to add a new playlist source, then "M3U Playlist," and paste your link. TiviMate will automatically recognise the channels and download the program guide if it's included in the same link.

Common Mistakes When Entering the Link

  • An extra space at the start or end of the link — remove it before saving.
  • Copying an incomplete URL — make sure the entire link was copied.
  • No internet connection at the moment you add it — check that the device is online.
