The electronic program guide (EPG) sometimes loads more slowly than the channel list, or doesn't appear at all. We explain why this happens and how to fix it. See the basics of how EPG works in our article EPG, Catch-Up TV, and 4K Quality
Why EPG Loads Slower Than Channels
EPG data is a separate, often larger dataset than the channel list itself, so it can take more time to load fully — especially the first time you launch the app after adding a new playlist.
How to Fix Missing EPG Data
- Wait a few minutes after adding a playlist — full EPG data sometimes loads in the background.
- Refresh the channel list in the app's settings if that option is available.
- Restart the app if EPG still doesn't appear after a few minutes.
If the issue affects other parts of the app, not just EPG, see our general IPTV troubleshooting guide.
