Samsung TVs running Tizen are among the most common Smart TVs in Polish households. Our general Smart TV setup guide covers Samsung and LG together — here we take a closer look at Tizen specifically, including common settings and pitfalls.
Choosing an App on Tizen
Open the Samsung App Store directly on the remote and search for Smart IPTV, IBO Player, or another app that supports Xtream Codes or M3U. Smart IPTV additionally requires registering the TV's MAC address on the app maker's website the first time you launch it — a one-time step.
Installation and Login Step by Step
- Install your chosen app from the Samsung App Store.
- Open the app and choose the option to add a new playlist or account.
- Enter the Xtream Codes details or M3U link you received after activating your subscription.
- Wait for the channel list and Electronic Program Guide (EPG) to load.
Common Issues on Samsung
The most common issue is an outdated version of Tizen — check for available updates in the TV's settings before installing an app. If the picture buffers, check your internet speed first, ideally using a wired connection.
